TRY THE TEST

The weather was nice for November, approx. 45 degrees. I didn't
even have to wear a jacket. We had a few people come out with
us tonight. John came out, Erik is teaching the "Way of the Master" course at a Christian homeschool football team, Springfield Christian Chargers, and brought one of their high school students, Nathaniel. Mike Lynch came out later, but earlier brought out his students from the "Way of the Master" class from Springfield Victory Mission.

Lee Lovall came out with his church from Republic. Pastor Ron

Burks and Pastor Gene Baker were out from their church as well.
The above picture was while I was open air preaching. I started
out with trivia questions and gathered a crowd. The batteries in my microphone that I use died, so I preached without it. I haven't
done that in awhile. My voice started cracking. A young man
named Chris was the "Good Person Test" volunteer.

We passed out gospel tracts as well. John and I had a good one-2-one talk with a teenage couple named Chance and Shannon. They said they were not Christians. As we went through the Good Person Test, they admitted to breaking some of the 10 Commandments.

They did say that every now and then they thought about death and what happens when we die. They did not seem to know much about salvation, which is unusual for this area. They were still very skeptical, but I could see that Shannon was really listening. After going through the law and grace and explaining salvation, I told them that I would be praying that they would think about what we talked about tonight.

One day we will all die and spend eternity in heaven or hell.

Pray for those that received a gospel tract and those that heard the Word through preaching, that they would be convicted by the Holy Spirit, repent and trust in Christ as their Lord and Savior.

In Christ,

Brad St. Clair
